I’ve been really into Pokémon again lately (Pokémon Moon for 3DS and still playing Pokémon Go when I’m out and about) so I designed three Valentine’s Day cards inspired by the games! Here is a DIY tutorial video walking through all of the steps you’ll need to make them yourself.

I’m so happy with the way all of these cards came out! They’re pretty easy to make once you cut out all of the pieces and get them organized. You can download the templates for free right here and print out the PDF to get started!

Here is a list of the materials you’ll need to make them! They link to where you can find them online to make it easier for you.

Scissors
Cardstock in red, yellow, black, white, gray, and light blue
– A pencil
Gluestick
Double sided foam mounting adhesive
Thin black marker

So when you’re scrambling to figure out some cute handmade gifts to give to your friends and family over the next week, you’ll have three adorably nerdy options for cards you can make! And since these use foam adhesive shapes, they’re three-dimensional as well! That makes them way more interesting than store-bought options, in my opinion.

If you make them yourself, definitely post photos of your finished Pokémon valentines on social media! Tag me @laurenfairwx on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. And if you liked this video, consider subscribing to my YouTube channel so you’ll be notified when I post a new one!

Pokéball Valentine

Just for fun, leave me your favorite Pokémon puns in the comments below! These cards are a perfect opportunity to write them. That way, if you’re trying to find the words to write on the valentines you make, you can just scroll down for some inspiration!

I hope that you had fun making these!
